Spreading vernacular jazz dance by Dangiras
From the beginning of 2010 Dangiras started teaching vernacular jazz dance at Lindyhop.lt Club.
The very spreading of the dance and improving his educational skills in working with youth are among the core purposes of Dangiras’ initiative. Vernacular jazz dance stands for a broad variety of jazz dances originated and developed in 20s, 30s and 40s of the last century in North America. Lindy hop is probably the best-known one, with its popularity growing all around the world each year. In Lithuania vernacular jazz dance has been danced and loved for almost a decade already. Dangiras has been seriously stuck with this passion for almost four years. For more information on vernacular jazz dance in Lithuania visit www.lindyhop.lt.
